Five-time Grammy Award winner Gilberto Santa Rosa is featured in the production through July 28.  Rosa has achieved 14 #1 hits on Billboard's Tropical Airplay Chart, numerous gold, platinum and multi-platinum albums and five Grammy Awards. 

Forever Tango also features Karina Smirnoff and Maksim Chmerkovskiy, of "Dancing With the Stars." The two perform through Aug. 11. 

Smirnoff and Chmerkovskiy, who met in a Broadway production of Burn the Floor, became engaged New Year's Day 2009 and broke up October of the same year. Smirnoff, a mirror ball champion, has won five U.S. National Championships, earned titles at the U.S. Open, Asian Open and U.K. Open and was ranked #2 in the world. She has starred in and contributed choreography for Broadway’s Burn the Floor, music videos, awards shows and films and recently starred with Marsha Mason in the film "Across Grace Alley."

Chmerkovskiy's credits include Le Rêve – The Dream at Wynn Las Vegas, Broadway's Burn the Floor and various television projects. He has launched one of the nation's leading Latin and ballroom dance studios, Dance with Me, which has four locations across New York, New Jersey and Connecticut.

Following Rosa's departure, Luis Enrique will be featured as the guest vocalist beginning July 30. The Grammy Award-winning Nicaraguan singer, known as “El Principe de la Salsa” (The Prince of Salsa), will perform through Aug. 18.

Forever Tango originally opened on Broadway in 1997, receiving numerous Drama Desk and Tony Award nominations. It returned to Broadway for a four-month engagement in 2004.

"Forever Tango is music, drama, culture, a way of life," press notes state. "The popularity of tango has exploded all over the world. Sensuous and sophisticated, the tango is a feeling that you dance. A story is channeled through the flick of the leg, the tug of a hand, the tap of a foot, and the arch of an eyebrow. It’s passionate, yet melancholic. Tender, yet violent. You dance it with somebody, but it is so internal, you dance it by yourself."
