Richards and MGM star Arlene Dahl, who has spearheaded the project, hosted the event, which featured a performance by current South Pacific star Kelli O'Hara. The planned Broadway Walk of Stars will celebrate talent of the stage, screen, music and dance worlds as well as the cultural history of New York City.
