Mackie portrays Darius McReele, a death row inmate exonerated from his crimes as a result of the investigative journalism by reporter Rick Dayne (O'Keefe). At left, O'Keefe is seen above Chiwetel Ejiofor, while below playwright Stephen Belber (Tape, Match), Mackie and director Doug Hughes (Frozen) are see at the opening night party at the Millenium Hotel on West 44th Street in midtown Manhattan.

McReele is playing at the Laura Pels Theatre at the Harold & Miriam Steinberg Center for Theatre and is scheduled to run through May 1.
