Attending the opening night performance of The Real Thing are hot young film and stage actors Paul Rudd, Philip Seymour Hoffman and Mira Sorvino. Tom Stoppard's The Real Thing deals with love, marriage and adultery. In shifting perspectives, couples founder and reform, and joy and passion are acutely countered by pain and deception. Stephen Dillane and Jennifer Ehle star in the revival at the Barrymore Theatre.
The queer-themed short plays will be made available for free to non-profit theatres, schools, and community organizations to support fundraising for LGBTQIA+ groups.
The tour will launch at the New Wimbledon Theatre in June.
