They're Broadway's snazziest dressers. John Waters, auteur of the original "Hairspray" film, and Andre de Shields, most recently known for what he wasn't wearing in The Full Monty, show off their fashion sense at the Dec. 2 Mr. Abbott Award ceremony. The prize went to Hairspray and The Full Monty director Jack O'Brien.

The Stage Directors and Choreographers Foundation awarded Globe Theatres artistic director O'Brien with the Mr. Abbott Award (named for the late playwright and director George Abbott) for his lifelong contributions to theatre. O'Brien has garnered four Tony nominations and a Broadway barrage of serious plays and musical comedies from Imaginary Friends, Two Shakespearean Actors, Little Foxes and The Invention of Love to Hairspray, The Full Monty and Damn Yankees.
