This year, the musical theatre festival celebrates its 100th production — The Angle of the Sun. The festival productions begin performances Sept. 17. This year, NYMF will feature over 300 performances of 34 new musicals, in addition to 84 concerts, readings and other events. The festival is dedicated to "bringing together 1000 writers, directors, actors and designers from all across the country and internationally, as well, for a three-week musical theatre lovefest that showcases the next, up-and-coming generation of musical theatre artists," according to NYMF.
