The New York Musical Theatre Festival (NYMF) kicked off its fourth season Sept. 12 with a press conference featuring stars of the festival and performances from some of the new works.

This year, the musical theatre festival celebrates its 100th production — The Angle of the Sun. The festival productions begin performances Sept. 17. This year, NYMF will feature over 300 performances of 34 new musicals, in addition to 84 concerts, readings and other events.
