Amy Spanger and Michael Berresse (Chicago) sing "Tom, Dick Or Harry," while Marin Mazzie and Brian Stokes Mitchell (Ragtime) perform in the Shakespearean garb of The Taming of the Shrew, the play-with-in-the-play in Kiss Me, Kate.
Kiss Me, Kate, beginning performances at the Martin Beck Theatre Oct. 25, held a press preview Oct. 7. Songs sung included "So in Love," "I've Come to Wive It Wealthily in Padua," "Tom, Dick or Harry" and "Too Darn Hot."
The concert will feature deep cuts from the group's catalog, as well as brand new music.
The annual awards will be presented May 20 at the Skirball Center for the Performing Arts.
The evening at the Lucille Lortel Theatre will feature acoustic versions of tunes from Lozano's albums.
Da'Vine Joy Randolph and Halle Bailey are also in the cast, with Pharrell Williams producing.
Whitney White directs the Ife Olujobi world premiere for The Public Theater.
Robert Clater will direct the Tony-nominated musical at the outdoor regional theatre.
After a successful run in the iconic cow-shaped Udderbelly, the piece will play Underbelly’s largest venue at the Fringe, the grand McEwan Hall.
The new musical features a book by Beth Malone and Mary Ann Stratton, with music by Emily Saliers of the Indigo Girls.
The one-night-only event will feature seven short plays written by NYC students in 24 hours.
