News PHOTO CALL: Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark Swings By "Good Morning America" Reeve Carney, who will star as Peter Parker in the new Broadway musical Spider-Man, Turn off the Dark, performed a song from the U2-scored production Sept. 10 on "Good Morning America." The event also served as a photo op for the show's co-stars and creative team.

Backed by his band, Carney performed the song "Boy Falls From the Sky" at the Hudson Theatre during the 8-9 AM hour.

Also on hand were director Julie Taymor, members of the design team and Carney's co-stars Jennifer Damiano and Patrick Page.

Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark Swings By "Good Morning America"



Spider-Man Turn Off the Dark will begin Broadway previews Nov. 14 at the Foxwoods Theatre (formerly the Hilton Theatre) and will officially open Dec. 21. Taymor (The Lion King) directs the production that will also feature Tony Award nominee Jennifer Damiano (Next to Normal) as Mary Jane Watson and Broadway veteran Patrick Page (The Grinch) as Norman Osborn/The Green Goblin.

Spider-Man Turn Off the Dark features a book by Taymor and Glen Berger, and new music and lyrics by Bono and The Edge.
