Dedicated thespians Helen Stenborg and Barnard Hughes celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary April 19 on stage in Waiting in the Wings. Hughes' and Stenborg's careers have spanned a wide range of works and theatrical history for her recent stint in the 2000 Pulitzer Prize winner Wit and her Obie winning role in Talley & Son to his title role as Hugh Leonard's Da, for which he garnered the Tony, Drama Desk and Outer Critic's Circle Awards, and appearances in Broadway's Prelude to a Kiss, The Good Doctor and Hamlet with Richard Burton.
