The company of Tango Argentino celebrated the opening of their return Broadway engagement Nov. 17. The dance revue runs at the Gershwin Theatre through Jan. 9, 2000. Tango Argentino was a best musical Tony nominee in its 1985 incarnation at the now dark Mark Hellinger Theatre. The show then went on to a U.S. tour, a stint in Japan and a run in London's West End, where it won the Olivier Award for Best Musical.
The new play, now on Broadway via Second Stage, stars Jessica Lange, Jim Parsons, and Celia Keenan-Bolger.
