The Forever Tango Marquee Goes Up

Gilberto Santa Rosa has achieved 14 #1 hits on Billboard's Tropical Airplay Chart, numerous gold, platinum and multi-platinum albums and five Grammy Awards. He will be featured in the production July 9-28.

Forever Tango originally opened on Broadway in 1997, receiving numerous Drama Desk and Tony Award nominations. It returned to Broadway for a four-month engagement in 2004.

"Forever Tango is music, drama, culture, a way of life," press notes state. "The popularity of tango has exploded all over the world. Sensuous and sophisticated, the tango is a feeling that you dance. A story is channeled through the flick of the leg, the tug of a hand, the tap of a foot, and the arch of an eyebrow. It’s passionate, yet melancholic. Tender, yet violent. You dance it with somebody, but it is so internal, you dance it by yourself."

Tickets will go on sale May 28, but fans of Gilberto Santa Rosa will have first access to seats via an exclusive online presale May 21-27. To participate, fans must "like" Santa Rosa or Forever Tango on Facebook or follow either of them on Twitter in order to gain access to the online ticketing link.
