News PHOTO CALL: The Prisoner of Second Avenue, With Jason Alexander and Gina Hecht, Opens in L.A. Tony Award winner Jason Alexander and Gina Hecht star in Neil Simon's comedy The Prisoner of Second Avenue, which opened April 23 at the El Portal Theatre in North Hollywood, CA.

Glenn Casale (Peter Pan) directs the Tony Award-nominated Neil Simon play, that tells the story of a New York advertising executive who loses his job — and then his mind.

Alexander, best known as George on TV's "Seinfeld," won a Tony for his work in Jerome Robbins' Broadway. Hecht has appeared on TV's "Glee" (as Puck's mom) and "Mork & Mindy" (as Jean DaVinci).
