The play, by Tracey Scott Wilson, centers around a certain event in the daily goings-on of the newspaper.

At left, actors Tammi Clayton and Erika Alexander, as well as the cast and playwright Tracey Scott Wilson, are seen arriving at Cafe DeVille on Third Ave & 13th Street for the opening night reception. Below, the cast gives their opening night curtain call at the Anspacher Theatre in New York City.

The Story is directed by Loretta Graco, with settings by Robert Brill, lights by James Vermeulen, costumes by Emilio Sosa, and sound by Rob Kaplowitz. The Story is a co-production with the Long Wharf Theatre.
