The play by Julia Jordan, which is adapted from the book of the same name by Sharon Creech, "follows a girl on a road trip across the country with her eccentric grandparents. Her tales of life back home, by turns hilarious and touching, create a journey within a journey as she and her know-it-all best friend discover that things aren’t always what they seem." At left, director Melissa Kievman is seen above book author Creech. Below, Theatreworks/USA artistic director Barbara Pasterack and cast member Sarah Lord are seen at the opening night party for Walk Two Moons at the Blue Mill Restaurant on Commerce Street in Manhattan.

Walk Two Moons is scheduled to run through Aug. 14.
