In Thoroughly Modern Millie, two men succumb to the exhuberant energy of Millie (Sutton Foster) — Gavin Creel (left) as the jazz baby Jimmy and Marc Kudisch (right) as the serious bachelor businessman Trevor Graydon.

Newcomer Foster stars as Millie, the "thoroughly modern" flapper girl at the heart of the new musical, opening at the Marquis. Dick Scanlan and Jeanine Tesori added and revised music and material to the original 1967 Julie Andrews film on which Thoroughly Modern Millie is based. Michael Mayer directs.
