News PHOTO CALL: Three Changes Opens at Playwrights Horizons Nicky Silver's new dark comedy Three Changes opened Sept. 16 at Off-Broadway's Playwrights Horizons.

Staged by Wilson Milam, this world-premiere production stars Golden Globe winner Dylan McDermott ("The Practice," Broadway's Biloxi Blues) and Emmy Award nominee Maura Tierney (Dr. Abby Lockhart on "E.R."). Also featured are Scott Cohen (Losing Louie, "Gilmore Girls"), Aya Cash (The Pain and the Itch) and Brian J. Smith (Come Back, Little Sheba). Production notes describe the work as such: "In Three Changes, Nate (McDermott) and Laurel (Tierney) are a comfortably married, Upper West Side couple — until Nate's wayward brother Hal (Cohen) arrives from Hollywood. What at first seems a casual visit, a chance to reconnect, is quickly revealed as something more ominous. Hal may have had success, but human connection is all that matters, and he intends to make connections — no matter who pays the price."

Playwrights Horizons is located at 416 West 42nd Street. For ticket information call Ticket Central at (212) 279-4200 or purchase online at the Playwrights Horizons website at www.playwrightshorizons.org.
