Following a limited run at the Riverside Theatre this past spring, Through the Night — written and performed by Daniel Beaty, who received an Obie Award for his solo play Emergence-See! — officially opened at Off-Broadway's Union Square Theatre Sept. 26 following previews that began Sept. 10.
Charles Randolph-Wright again directs the solo work that tells the story of six African-American males, ages 10-60, "who discover the power of possibility through one extraordinary event."
