Tom Stoppard is certainly one of the most lauded playwrights alive today. His canon of work includes Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead, Invention of Love and The Real Thing. Lincoln Center Theater will stage his Coast of Utopia in 2005. His plays have won seven Evening Standard Awards, one Olivier Award and three Tony Awards. He also co-wrote the screenplay for "Shakespeare in Love" for which he was given several awards including an Oscar and a BAFTA.
