News PHOTO CALL: Tommy Tune's Art Exhibit Opens at Glebo Gallery Tommy Tune's large-scale, acrylic-on-oil canvas portraits of giraffes are being presented in the exhibition Longnecks June 3-August 29 at the Peter Glebo Gallery. An opening reception was held June 3.

In describing his work, Tune says "I paint long and tall," continuing "I champion large paintings in small spaces. They extend the horizons of a room." Tune has won nine Tony Awards for acting, direction, and choreography. He is also the recipient of the National Medal of the Arts, eight Drama Desk Awards, two Obie Awards, and two Fred Astaire Awards.
