Feldshuh earned her fourth Tony nomination for her portrayal of Israeli Prime Minister Golda Meir (she was previously cited for her work in Yentl, Sarava, and Lend Me a Tenor). Golda's Balcony, by The Miracle Worker playwright William Gibson, transferred from Off-Broadway's Manhattan Ensemble Theatre in October 2003.
Joining in the celebration at the Angus McIndoe Restaurant on West 44th Street in New York City were Wicked composer/lyricist Stephen Schwartz, who's son Scott directed Golda's Balcony, as well as another Best Actress nominee, Swoosie Kurtz.
Golda's Balcony is currently running at the Helen Hayes Theatre.
