A bevy of Tony nominees performed at the Manhattan Theatre Club's Spring Gala May 15: Heather Headley (Aida), Craig Bierko (The Music Man) and Kiss Me, Kate's gangsters, Lee Wilkof and Michael Mulhern, who sang "Brush Up Your Shakespeare." Manhattan Theatre Club, the New York City nonprofit that gives voice to new writers and unfamiliar plays, held its annual Spring Gala May 15, with David Hyde Pierce and Linda Lavin serving as co-hosts. The fundraiser evening at the New York Hilton included entertainment from Broadway performers from Kiss Me, Kate, Swing!, Aida and more, as well as selections from MTC's recent The Wild Party.
