The production is directed and choreographed by Kathleen Marshall, and stars two time Tony-winner Donna Murphy and Jessica Westfeldt, in her Broadway debut. Written in 1953, this is the love letter to Manhattan's first major production in half a century. This staging is largely based on the Encores! Great American Musicals in Concert version seen in early May of 2000.

Settings are by John Lee Beatty, lights by Peter Kaczorowski, costumes by Martin Pakledinaz, and sound by Lew Mead.
