Good Morning! Let's get this two-show day moving!
Jessie Fisher
I woke up with crazy back pain. It's awesome being 83 years old. Luckily a chair massage at Relax and Renew Spa in the East Village does the trick!
Jessie Fisher
The Once bus right across from my apartment!! It is going to be a good day!
Jessie Fisher
I like to turn my bathroom into a steam room to get those vocal chords ready.
Jessie Fisher
I'm super into juicing. This Pineapple Royal Flush from Liquiteria is awesome!
Jessie Fisher
I love a farmer's market! Union Square has a lovely one.
Jessie Fisher
Quick ride on the Q and I'm in Times Square. Still can't believe this Chicago gal works here now.
Jessie Fisher
Just discovered one of my favorite actresses, Patricia Clarkson, will be a new theatre neighbor. I will be in that autograph line.
Jessie Fisher
Arrows leading the way to work.
Jessie Fisher
Iyanth and Billy make sure Shia LaBeouf doesn't wander backstage.
Jessie Fisher
My dressing room! I just moved from the other side of the stage where I was a standby, so I'm still organizing things in my new home.
Jessie Fisher
I have this big, empty, white wall. Taking suggestions on decorations. Thoughts?

I got Walkie Talkies so I can talk to my best bud and Standby King, Ben Hope, on the other side of the theatre. We originally thought some cans and string would work...this is better.
Jessie Fisher
Our Assistant Stage Manager, Katherine Shea, does some pre-show ballet as I practice my Mendelssohn. It's our ritual to help me not mess up onstage. She is a saint, obviously.
Jessie Fisher
Adam Brown (Eamon) gets in on the action. So graceful.
Jessie Fisher
Lots of pre pre show work needs to get done. Sound checks, instrument checks, chair checks.
Jessie Fisher
Ryan Vona (Andre) warming up the bass. He calls me Mom... because he once had a dream I was his mom...I don't know which one of us should be more embarrassed. (And Adam looking sinister in the background)
Jessie Fisher
Can't forget to take off my new bling. This girl is engaged in real life, but I don't think Girl would have such a gorgeous ring.
Jessie Fisher
This is not a prop from the movie "A Beautiful Mind." This is how I work on my script. I look it over before every show to make sure I'm being present and honest.
Jessie Fisher
Jessie "Make up Rules" Fisher
Jessie Fisher
Our awesome dresser, Cailin Anderson, helps me not get lost backstage.
Jessie Fisher
Show 1 done! I'm onstage the whole time so sorry, no during show pictures from me. The gorgeous and brilliant Yasmine Lee, our associate choreographer, has some notes for me. Always working on how to make the show better!
Jessie Fisher
Paul Nolan (Guy) is so steamy. Even when he is writing his notes down.
Jessie Fisher
Picked up some gifts for a castmate's birthday. She is under 10 years old...but I'd totally be excited to get these gifts.
Jessie Fisher
Usually I go to the gym...but today is too pretty to be inside. So I'm gonna eat some sushi and run some errands instead!
Jessie Fisher
I gotta admit, it is pretty cool and surreal to have a giant poster of yourself on Broadway. Whose life is this??
Jessie Fisher
Staged picture of me napping... which is what I did for 15 minutes. My brain knows I didn't really go through some serious heartbreak during the show, but my body doesn't. It's exhausting!
Jessie Fisher
New standby Shannon O'Boyle is my new love.
Jessie Fisher
Ben Hope comes to visit me before the second show. Sometimes Walkie Talkies aren't enough.
Jessie Fisher
Understudy Ari Wilford brought in baby cupcakes. I took one for post show before Ben Hope Godzilla-ed them.
Jessie Fisher
Birthday girl Laurel Griggs (Ivanka) soaking in the love. We always have cake in the basement for birthdays and the kids ask, "What is your first childhood memory?" Laurel's was from two years ago.
Jessie Fisher
Understudy Brandon Ellis is amazing. He knows over 150 different music parts for this show. Understudies and standbys are geniuses. Munson, our associate company manager Elizabeth Talmadge's dog, is pretty cool too.
Jessie Fisher
The Ivankas, Laurel and Madeleine Pace, are working on their two-person show: "The Adventures of Young Girl and Reza."
Jessie Fisher
Somehow, Brandon and I have gotten ourselves into a mini-cupcake eating competition. Bets are being made, smack talk has begun...I'm obviously very confident I will win.
Jessie Fisher
Show 2 is about to begin. But I think I'm missing a skirt...
Jessie Fisher
My view from the back of the house before I make my entrance.
Jessie Fisher
Katrina Lenk (Reza) and Erikka Walsh (Ex-Girlfriend) are two of the coolest girls I know. A little intermission orange break.
Jessie Fisher
Paul loves me, but I'm not into it.
Jessie Fisher
"I played the cards too late... now you're gone."
Jessie Fisher
Visiting the other side of the stage during intermission! Jillian Zygo, our child guardian and wife of cast member J. Michael Zygo, is going to have a baby any day now! Isn't she gorgeous!?
Jessie Fisher
We keep ourselves busy backstage with crafts. Ben has become a real leather carving expert.
Jessie Fisher
Don Noble is on as Da today. He is the smartest man I've met. The three of us have designated ourselves the theatre's Explorers Club. When I was a standby, we would do science projects, test aerodynamics with paper airplanes and discuss scotch. Classy
Jessie Fisher
Ari and Scott Stangland (our Eamon in training) practice in the music room.
Jessie Fisher
Shannon got the coolest Once blanket from her friend. I miss my old room!
Jessie Fisher
Heading downstairs for the second act. Joanne Borts is on for Barushka today. She is excited.
Jessie Fisher
Where all the magic happens backstage. Stage Managers are the real talent here.
Jessie Fisher
Post show family reunion with the understudy crew!
Jessie Fisher
You cry when you see the show? Me too.
Jessie Fisher
Had some Chicago Improviser friends see the show tonight! Including SNL cast member Vanessa Bayer.
Jessie Fisher
And a student of mine from Chicago stopped by too! That's Kate Cornelius-Schecter. I miss teaching acting...but this is a pretty good reason to take a break from it.
Jessie Fisher
That was a margarita from Aribba Aribba. I earned it after two shows.
Jessie Fisher
That was an awesome, exhausting day!
Jessie Fisher
Can't wait to do another show tomorrow! Goodnight!
