Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson, which had a brief Broadway run in fall 2010, preceded by productions at the Public Theater and Los Angeles, was nominated for 2011 Tony Awards in the categories of Best Book and Best Scenic Design.

Scott Ferguson directs a cast that stars Holzfeind as Andrew Jackson and Samantha Dubina as Rachel Jackson with Harter Clingman, Hannah Corneau, Matt Deitchman, Luke Emano, Kyle Gibson, Varris Holmes, Dylan Lainez, Mark LeBeau, Patrick Rooney, Jill Sesso, Tanner Smale, Judy Lea Steele and Brittany Townsley.

Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson was created by Alex Timbers (book) and Michael Friedman (music and lyrics) and, according to Bailiwick, "tells the story of the United States of America's audacious and bold seventh president, the founder of the Democratic party who greatly expanded the size of the nation."

Performances continue through Nov. 10.
