Classic Arts News Photo Journal: Lyric Opera of Chicago Stages Wagner's Ring The Lyric Opera of Chicago is in the midst of three complete performances of Wagner's massive four-part Ring cycle.
The production is directed by Herbert Kellner, based on August Everding's 1996 production. Sets and costumes are by John Conklin; lighting is by Duane Schuler.

This cast includes James Morris as Wotan, Jane Eaglen as Br‹nnhilde, Plšcido Domingo as Siegmund, and Michelle DeYoung as Sieglinde. Lyric music director Andrew Davis conducts.

The first performance of the cycle began March 28 and runs through April 2. Subsequent cycles run April 4-9 and April 11-16.
