Playbill Pride Go Inside Day 1 of Playbill's Weekend-Long Pride in Times Square Celebration

The event included appearances from Hedwig and the Angry Inch's Stephen Trask, the cast of A Strange Loop, and more.

Coinciding with NYC Pride, Playbill and the Times Square Alliance teamed up June 24–25 for Pride in Times Square with a weekend-long event bringing together stage and screen stars, Broadway shows, LGBTQIA+ non-profits, and more to Times Square between 45th and 47th Streets—the heart of Broadway. Here are some highlights from the June 24 festivities.

The first day of mainstage programming included a kick-off celebration on the Pride in Times Square mainstage, including presentations from Austin Artists Project, the Ali Forney Center, and more.
