The EGOT winner joined the New York restaurant’s famed wall of caricatures October 26.

The famed walls of Sardi's just got a bit more musical.

EGOT winner and prolific orchestrator Jonathan Tunick was honored with a caricature all his own on October 26. A skilled interpreter of other composers works, Tunick is perhaps most associated with Stephen Sondheim, with whom he worked closely, on and off, for many decades.

Tunick's orchestrations can be currently heard in 3 starry Sondheim productions: Here We Are, Merrily We Roll Along, and Sweeney Todd. On hand to salute were stars from all three productions, including Jonathan Groff, Josh Groban, Rachel Bay Jones, Marsha Mason, Micaela Diamond, Judy Kuhn, and more.
