News Phylicia Rashad Premieres One-Woman Show Here's to Life at Syracuse, May 19 Phylicia Rashad, the actress remembered by television audiences as Clair Huxtable on "The Cosby Show," will perform the premiere of her one-woman show Here's to Life: An Intimate Evening of Memories and Song at Syracuse Stage, May 19.

Interspersing anecdotes about her career and such personalities as Bill Cosby, Stevie Wonder and Madeline Kahn, Rashad will sing accompanied by Shelton Becton. Rashad will also welcome the audience to take part in discussions.

The actress began her career on the stage and has appeared on Broadway in Jelly's Last Jam, Into the Woods, Dreamgirls, The Wiz, Ain't Supposed to Die a Natural Death. Other credits include Everybody's Ruby, The Vagina Monologues, Blue, Helen and Blues for an Alabama Sky
