Vancouver Playhouse has announced shows for its 1997-98 season. On tap are George Bernard Shaw's Mrs. Warren's Profession; the debut of Morris Panych, Ken McDonald and Wendy Gorling's The Overcoat; 2 Pianos 4 Hands by Ted Dykstra and Richard Greenblatt; Terrence McNally's A Perfect Ganesh, Steve Martin's Picasso at the Lapin Agile and Atlantis by Maureen Hunter.
No dates have been announced.
Vancouver Playhouse will joined a growing list of theatres that co-produce with other companies, when it links with the Manitoba Theatre Centre to produce A Perfect Ganesh.
This will be the first season for their new artistic director Glynis Leyshon, who is a graduate of Vancouver Theatre's theatre school. One of her aims is to see the Playhouse re-establish a touring company.
