A spokesperson for the soap told Playbill.com the actress will be seen on the daytime series Oct. 19 in the role of party planner Sharon Borg. The hour-long drama airs on ABC daily at 1 PM (ET). Check your local listings.

Clark earn a Tony Award for her 2005 turn in the musical The Light in the Piazza. She has also appeared on Broadway in Cabaret, Urinetown, Titanic, How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying and Guys and Dolls. Other credits include "Cradle Will Rock," "Law & Order" and "Sweeney Todd in Concert."

The 37-year-old series, which is shot in New York City, has provided ample work for stage performers over the years. Recent guest stars have included Kelli O'Hara, Jeffrey Carlson, Becky Ann Baker, Josh Strickland, Ashley Brown, Erin Dilly, Cheyenne Jackson, Jenn Gambatese, Brooks Ashmanskas and recurring player Tonya Pinkins, among others.
