News Pied-à-Terre Begins Off-Broadway Run Nov. 26 The new drama Pied-à-Terre begins a limited engagement at Off-Broadway's Kirk Theatre Nov. 26.

Directed by Tom Ferriter, the production will officially open Dec. 1 and play through Jan. 5, 2008. The cast features John Howard Swain, Jessica McKee and Robin Riker.

John Anastasi's Pied-à-Terre, according to press notes, is the story of "Julia, a TV journalist who discovers a penthouse owned by her husband, Jack, which she was unaware existed. As Julia explores the apartment, she is interrupted by Katie, a young woman, who seems to know Jack a little too well. As the two women face off and secrets unfold revealing the burdens each has been carrying, the two women learn they have more in common than either thought possible."

Presented by Stageplays Theatre Company, the production features sets by Randall Parsons, lighting by Jeffrey Koger and sound by Chris Rummell. Michael Valenti has penned original musical, and Ron DeJesus choreographs; wig and hair design is by Wendy Parson.
