News Pierce Will Be Finding the Doorbell Nov. 7-10 at the Wings Theatre Finding the Doorbell, a one-woman show written and performed by Cindy Pierce, will be presented Nov. 7-10 at the Wings Theatre.

Mary Catherine Burke will direct the new work, which is described as "a hilarious ode to the female anatomy – from orgasms, self-stimulation, birthing, and the like. Cindy guides the audience on a tour of the female body, complete with her own trademark brand of comedic physicality and stand-up delivery." In a statement actress Pierce said, "Growing up the youngest of seven kids provided me with a sex education that combined vague parental input, graphic sisterly insight and a tomboy youth that granted me uncensored access to the male world. I hope my show opens minds and helps people find humor, rather than humiliation, in one's own anatomy."

Finding the Doorbell comes with this warning: "contains explicit sexual language and graphic descriptions. Viewer discretion is advised."

Show times are Nov. 7-9 at 8 PM and Nov. 10 at 7 and 9:30 PM. The Wings Theatre is located in Manhattan at 154 Christopher Street. Tickets, priced $22.50 (advance) and $25 (at the door), are available by calling (212) 627-2960 or by visiting www.wingstheatre.com/partners.html. For more information visit www.Cindy-Pierce.com.
