Pippi Longstocking, a musical based on the classic series of children's stories written by Astrid Lindgren, will be presented Feb. 25-March 12 at the Casa del Prado Theatre in Balboa Park. San Diego Junior Theatre is the producer.Pippi is a street-smart young girl living in a Swedish village who is trying to escape the clutches of the Child Welfare Board. Pippi must use all her wiles to survive on her own, all the while clinging to the hope that her pirate father will come to her rescue.
