The singing actress will perform "The Star-Spangled Banner" at 7:10 PM on June 25, part of Broadway Night at Shea. The evening, presented by Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS, features a night at Shea Stadium with casts and crews of several Broadway shows.

The Mets will play the St. Louis Cardinals.

Stephanie J. Block was most recently on Broadway in the new musical The Pirate Queen, which ended its run June 17. The singing actress created the role of Liza Minnelli in the Peter Allen biomusical The Boy From Oz. She portrayed Elphaba in the national tour of Wicked, earning a Helen Hayes Award for her performance. Block's regional credits include Funny Girl, Crazy for You (L.A. Ovation Award nomination), Oliver (Critics Award, Best Actress) and James Joyce's The Dead.

Block is also taking part in the workshop of the new musical 9 to 5, based on the film of the same name.
