Tim Gregory directs the staging of the popular Charles Dickens holiday classic that is infused with familiar yuletide carols. Local elementary school choirs will lend their voices for A Musical Christmas Carol, which will run through Dec. 21 at the Byham Theater.
In addition to Atkins as Scrooge, the cast also features Laura Lee Brautigam (Fan/Alice), Christopher J. Cannon (Peter Cratchit), Paul Domencic (Young Scrooge/Ghost of Christmas Future), Michael Greer (Topper), Tim Hartman (Mr. Fezziwig/Ghost of Christmas Present, Jeff Howell (Bob Cratchit), Christina McCann (Missy Watkins/Martha Cratchit), Joseph Serafini (Tiny Tim), Amanda Serra (Ghost of Christmas Past/Peg), Amanda Slaughter (Belle/Bess), Jennifer Veltre Smith (Mrs. Cratchit), Dereck Walton (Marley’s Ghost/Young Marley) and Terry Wickline (Mrs. Fezziwig/Mrs. Dilber).
Completing the cast are Greggory Brandt, Brittany R. Graham, Jodi Gage, Scott P. Sambuco, Alyssa Gephart, Rachel Mracna, Robert Murray and Emma Baker.
Bruce Barnes serves as musical director for the production. Scenery and lighting will be designed by D. Martyn Bookwalter with lighting by Scott Nelson and costumes provided by Costume World, Theatrical.
