News PittsburghCLO Has Two By R&H, One by G&S, Plus Dr. Dolittle in 2005 PittsburghCLO, the summer stock tradition in Pittsburgh, has announced its 2005 season, which, as previously reported by Playbill On-Line, will include a visit by the musical Dr. Dolittle, the tour of which CLO is producing.

The American premiere of the stage version of the fanciful movie musical (with a score by Leslie Bricusse) will play the Benedum Center Aug. 2-14 as part of the show's tour. "Talk to the Animals" and other tunes from the Oscar-nominated movie will be heard. The summer season for PittsburghCLO in 2005 also includes Stephen Sondheim and Hugh Wheeler's A Little Night Music (June 7-12), Rodgers and Hammerstein's The Sound of Music (June 14-26), the New York Shakespeare Festival version of Gilbert & Sullivan's The Pirates of Penzance (June 28-July 10), The Who's Tommy (July 12-24) and Rodgers and Hammerstein's Carousel July 26-31.
