News Plan-B Theatre Company to Stage Wallace, a World Premiere, in Salt Lake City Salt Like City's Plan-B Theatre Company will present the world premiere of Wallace, by Jennifer Nii and Debora Threedy, March 4-14 at Studio Theatre @Rose Wagner.

The play is comprised of two intertwined solo pieces: Fire! by Nii, which is based on the writings of author Wallace Thurman, a gay black author from the Harlem Renaissance period, and Where I Come From, by Threedy, which is taken from the writings of Wallace Stegner, the Pulitzer Prize-winning novelist. Both Stegner and Thurman called Salt Lake City, UT, home at different times in their lives. The play brings them together in "a rumination on the power of place and the meaning of home," according to Plan-B.

The production will feature Richard Scharine and Carleton Bluford. Jerry Rapier, the producing director of Plan-B Theatre Company, will direct.

Performances of Wallace will be Thursday-Sunday. Studio Theatre @ Rose Wagner is located at 138 West 300 South, Salt Lake City. For tickets, call (801) 355-ARTS or visit planbtheatre.org.
