From more than one Mrs. Lovett to a little orphan Annie, Playbill gives a standing ovation to Broadway's brightest born in March.

There is so much to celebrate in the month of March! The worst of winter is behind us, and the lights continue to rise on new productions of plays and musicals on the Broadway stage. In addition to being Women's History Month, March is a special month for a host of amazing artists who have graced the Main Stem. Warm up your singing voices and light some candles for the gifted performers, directors, and playwrights, we celebrate this month.

Starting off the month are Lindsay Mendez (Merrily We Roll AlongGodspell), Jeanna de Waal (Sweeney ToddDianaKinky Boots), Bryan Batt (La Cage aux FollesSunset Boulevard), Tim Daly (The Night of the Iguana), and producer Kevin McCollum (The NotebookDays of Wine and Roses) whose birthdays fall on March 1. 

Wear pink and green on March 6 for composer-lyricist Stephen Schwartz (Queen of VersaillesWicked) in celebration of his birthday. 

Director-choreographer Andy Blankenbuehler (BandstandCatsHamilton) and Donna Murphy (Hello, Dolly!Wonderful TownThe King and I) will turn another year older on March 7.

March 12 is a special day for the one and only Liza Minnelli (ChicagoThe ActVictor / VictoriaCabaret).

It's playwright Dominique Morisseau's (Ain't Too ProudSkeleton Crew) lucky birthday on March 13.

It would be Appropriate to wish Corey Stoll (A View from the BridgeOld Acquaintance) a happy birthday on March 14. 

On March 16, our heart beats for Victor Garber (Hello, Dolly!Damn YankeesNoises Off), Jeffrey Richards (Pictures from HomePurlie Victorious: A Non-Confederate Romp Through the Cotton PatchBeetlejuice), and Amber Iman (LempickaShuffle Along). 

Save one of the best pies in New York for Sutton Foster (Sweeney Todd, The Music Man, Anything Goes), Vanessa Williams (A Wonderful World: The Louis Armstrong Musical, The Devil Wears Prada MusicalPOTUS), John Kander (New York, New York), and Eva Noblezada (The Great Gatsby, Hadestown) on March 18.

Director Maria Friedman (Merrily We Roll AlongLegacy: An Evening with Maria Friedman and Friends) will be "Growing Up" on her March 19 birthday.

On March 20, bake a cake for Chip Zien (Harmony, FalsettosInto the Woods).

March 21 produced some incredible Broadway artists in Santino Fontana (TootsieHello, Dolly!Rodgers + Hammerstein's Cinderella) and Matthew Broderick (Plaza SuiteSylviaIt's Only a PlayThe Producers).

Lift your razors high and illuminate your chandeliers for two musical theatre titans: the late great Stephen Sondheim (Merrily We Roll Along, Sweeney Todd) and Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber (Sunset BoulevardPhantom of the Opera) on March 22.

Making her Broadway debut in An Enemy of the People is our March 23 birthday, Victoria Pedretti (television's The Haunting of Hill House, You). 

Soon to be seen on Broadway in Mother Play, is our March 24 birthday Jim Parsons (The Boys in the BandThe Normal Heart). Julie Benko (Funny Girl, Fiddler on the Roof), who was most recently seen in Broadway's Harmony, also celebrates her birthday that day. 

We hope to succeed in wishing Sarah Jessica Parker (Plaza SuiteHow To Succeed in Business Without Really TryingAnnie) and Elton John (Billy Elliot: The MusicalThe Lion King) a very happy birthday on March 25.

Not a March 26 goes by that we're not wishing Jonathan Groff (Merrily We Roll AlongHamiltonSpring Awakening), Anaïs Mitchell (Hadestown), and Michael Imperioli (An Enemy of the People), happy birthdays on March 26.

"Make a Wish" for Bonnie Milligan (Kimberly AkimboHeads Over Heels) and Bartlett Sher (CamelotPictures from HomeTo Kill a Mockingbird), celebrate their birthdays on March 27. 

We hope Corey Cott (The Heart of Rock and RollNewsies The Musical) feels "The Power of Love" on his March 30 birthday.
