Keven Smith has been appointed manager of the Playbill On-Line Club. His full-time responsibilities include greatly increasing content in two of the fastest-growing areas of Playbill On-Line: the Club discount offers, and the Casting Calls help-wanted section.

Smith comes to Playbill On-Line from Theatre Direct International, where he supervised the telephone sales office for this large New York company, which handles ticket sales to wholesalers, group tour operators, travel agents and individuals.
He previously worked as director of patron services for Ballet Memphis in Tennessee, and other Tennessee arts groups.
It will be his job to build club offers in New York and across the U.S., and to do the same for our theatrical job offers, both on stage and behind the scenes. -- By Robert Viagas
