Playbill On-Line Bookshelf, a selection of new, recent or recommended books, found on the lower right section of the homepage, now has a companion feature -- Playbill Online CDShelf. As a service to readers, new, recent or important theatre-related recordings are suggested, with a link to Amazon.com. A simple click also accesses Playbill On-Line Bookshelf and its connection to Amazon.com.
The feature was introduced Dec. 21, spotlighting Barbara Cook's recent live cabaret CD, "The Champion Season" (DRG label), featuring songs from musicals directed by Gower Champion.
Also included in the section are cast albums from 1999 shows including Little Me, You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown and Parade, among other discs.
