Canadian impresario Garth Drabinsky changed the way theatre is produced and marketed in North America over the past eight years, with Kiss of the Spider Woman, Show Boat and Ragtime, among others. But Drabinsky announced April 13 that he is handing over control of his Toronto-based company to a former Disney executive and talent agency chief Michael Ovitz.
