Cheryl Simon: Mame, while there are great actresses in their heyday who could play that role. It has been waaaaaay too long since it's been on Broadway.

Mame opened on Broadway in May 1966 co-starring Angela Lansbury and Bea Arthur. Check out this video of Lansubry and Arthur performing the classic duet "Bosom Buddies."

Ace Daniels: Miss Saigon. Hope the same London production transfers to Broadway.

Juan Carlos Garza Segovia: Miss Saigon!! It closed just before my visit to NY!! Now that it was revived in London I hope it will transfer to Broadway.

Rosie Hurst: Miss Saigon. I wasn't alive when it was originally on Broadway.

Gracelyn Nguyen: I would absolutely love Miss Saigon.

Louise Baxter: I know they've been mentioned but I'd LOVE to see Miss Saigon.

Tom Gallowitz: Miss Saigon, its gotten raves in London and Eva Nobileaza is a real star in the making.

Miss Saigon opened on Broadway in 1991 and won three 1991 Tony Awards, including Best Actress in a Musical for Lea Salonga, who played the ill-fated Kim. A critically acclaimed revival recently opened in London.

Victoria Durso: Hello, Dolly!!!

Charles Storey: HELLO, DOLLY!!

Karen Hart: Hello, Dolly!

Emily Fisher: Hello, Dolly, hands down. It's time to have Dolly back where she belongs!!

Colden Lamb: I was suprised that there was no Hello, Dolly revival for its 50th anniversary.

Jeff Coffman-Bancroft: Hello, Dolly! With Lea Michelle.

Hello, Dolly! opened on Broadway in 1964 starring Carol Channing in the title role. Channing, who won a Tony for her performance, also starred in the musical's two subsequent Broadway revivals.

 

Andrew John Howell: An All African American version of Gypsy with Tonya Pinkins as Rose and Anika Noni Rose as Gypsy Rose Lee.

Chad Campbell: Gypsy starring Stephanie J. Block!!

Gypsy opened on Broadway in 1959 starring Ethel Merman as stage mother Rose. Subsequent Broadway revivals have featured the Roses of Angela Lansbury, Tyne Daly, Bernadette Peters and Patti LuPone. Check out this video of Lansbury, who starred as Rose in the first Broadway revival in 1974, watching footage from that production for the first time.

Kelly Marie: Funny Girl. Lea Michele could pull it off.

Terry Singletary: Goodrich Heard Funny Girl with Lea Michelle is headed in the right direction, just taking a long time. Ryan Murphy does own the rights.....can you imagine????

Funny Girl opened on Broadway in 1964 at the Winter Garden Theatre starring Barbra Streisand. Stresiand later starred in the Academy Award-winning film adaptaion. The musical has yet to be revived on Broadway.

Andrew Stevens Purdy: PARADE!!!!

Jessica Littrell: Parade! It's WELL past time for a revival, especially since the book has been reworked and it did well in London!

Max Laycock: Parade by Jason Robert Brown! It has BEAUTIFUL music and an amazing, dark story that needs to be heard!

Jason Robert Brown's Parade opened on Broadway in 1998 winning the composer his first Tony Award for Best Original Score. Alfred Uhry was also Tony-honored for Best Book of a Musical.

Nathan Hinds: Isn't it about time for a Hairspray revival?

Richard Crandle: Hairspray!!!!!!!

Chihiro Yamadera: LOVE Hairspray!!!

Travis Bihn: Hairspray!

Based on the 1988 John Waters film of the same title, Hairspray opened on Broadway in 2002 and won eight Tony Awards, including Best Musical.

Jonathan Augustine Collura: Titanic.

Tyler Stout: Titanic!!

Daniel Barrett:  Titanic!

Maury Yeston and Peter Stone's Titanic opened on Broadway in 1997 at the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre starring Michael Cerveris, Brian d'Arcy James and Victoria Clark. The production won five Tony Awards, including Best Musical.

Jeffrey Karasarides:  Dreamgirls!

Joel Garcia Valle: Dreamgirls.

Jason Briggs: Dreamgirls.

Marcus Martn: DREAMGIRLS!!!

Henry Krieger and Tom Eyen's Dreamgirls opened in 1981 at the Imperial Theatre starring Jennifer Holliday, who earned a Tony Award for Best Actress in a Musical.
