The singing actor has also been seen on Broadway in the original casts of Side Show, The Red Shoes and Lestat as well as in Harold Prince's revival of Show Boat.

Tom Zurla Christian Borle
Borle, who was recently seen in the City Center Encores! production of Little Me, also played Max Dettweiler in NBC's live broadcast of The Sound of Music, which aired in December 2013. On Broadway he has appeared in Footloose, Legally Blonde: The Musical and Peter and the Starcatcher, earning a Tony for his portrayal of the Captain Hook-inspired Black Stache in the latter.

Jackman won the Tony Award for Best Leading Actor in a Musical for his performance in The Boy from Oz and has also been seen on Broadway in the two-hander Steady Rain and his critically acclaimed solo show Hugh Jackman, Back on Broadway. In 2012 the Australian native was awarded a Special Tony Award for Extraordinary Contribution to the Theatre Community. Jackman also played Jean Valjean in the film adaptation of Les Miserables, for which he won the Golden Globe Award for Best Actor in a Comedy or Musical. He is also scheduled to host the 68th Annual Tony Awards.
Max von Essen was last on Broadway playing Magaldi in the revival of Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice's Evita. His Broadway credits also include Les Miserables, Dance of the Vampires and Jesus Christ Superstar.

Karimloo is currently making his Broadway debut as Jean Valjean in the 2014 revival of Les Miserables. The Iranian-born Canadian vocalist has also been seen on the London stage as the Phantom in The Phantom of the Opera and in Love Never Dies, earning an Olivier Award nomination for his work in the latter.
The runner-up on the second season of the Fox singing competition "American Idol," Aiken made his Broadway debut in Monty Python's Spamalot. He has also had a highly successful solo career, including a debut album, "Measure of a Man," which went multi-platinum.
