News Playbill Unveils New "Director's Cut" Video Series, With Rob Ashford and Daniel Radcliffe Following in the tradition of recent Playbill magazine features in which directors of Broadway shows interviewed their famous collaborators, Playbill Video debuts "Director's Cut" this week. The series premiere spotlights How to Succeed… director-choreographer Rob Ashford in conversation with star Daniel Radcliffe.

View the Director's Cut video here (or below). The video launched Feb. 24 in the days leading up to the Feb. 26 first preview of the new Broadway production of the Pulitzer Prize-winning musical How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying. Radcliffe ("Harry Potter," and Broadway's Equus) stars as window-washer J. Pierrepont Finch, who rises to the top of a corporation by following a pocket-sized advice book.

Performances play the Al Hirschfeld Theatre. Opening night is March 27. This fall marks 50 years since the opening of the musical satire's original production. Frank Loesser penned the show's music and lyrics.

Playbill previously eavesdropped on A Life in the Theatre director Neil Pepe talking to playwright David Mamet, and American Idiot director Michael Mayer talking to Green Day front man and songwriter Billie Joe Armstrong.
