News Playbill Video Will Document Developing Musical Freedom's Song; Reading Cast Announced A staged reading of the new musical Freedom's Song will be presented June 9 at 9 PM at the Tada Theatre on 28th and Broadway in Manhattan.

Written by Alison Holman and Caleb Collins, the reading is part of The Emerging Artists Theatre’s New Works Festival.

Directed by Steven Carl McCasland, the cast will be led by Jennifer Hope Wills, Rod Singleton, Dwayne Washington, Siobhan Roland, Trevor McQueen, Matthew Martin, Jeffery Wilsor and MJ Rodriguez.

The ensemble includes Brian Childers, Joya Richmond, Kimberly Faye Greenberg, Tiffany Renee Thompson, Tim Hein, Elora Dannon Rosch, Yvette Bedgood, Sydney Van Putten Geovonday Zachary Jones, TJ Bolden, Lawrence Neals, Daniel Walstad, Abigail Ludrof, Danny Wilfred, Lynda DeFuria, Chauncey Packer, Kayla Leacock and Tatiana Wechsler.

The evening will also feature musical direction by Collins and Holman.

Playbill Video began following Collins and Holman after they participated in Mentor Mondays, a recurring featured segment of Jim Caruso's "Cast Party." Expect a video documenting the process of bringing the show to the stage after the festival performance.
