My mom works in advertising for a newspaper, and my dad is an athletic trainer/physical therapist.

None. Although, I have very close friends I consider brothers and sisters!

My go-to song is “Bohemian Rhapsody” (given the right circumstances)

Special skills:
I love instruments of all kinds, and dabble in a little bit of everything. I was a pretty good sax player in high school.

Something you're REALLY bad at:
Oh man... I'm really bad at taking compliments! I turn red and get really flustered. Super embarrassing.

First Broadway show you ever saw:
Phantom of the Opera. Instantly knew I was going to play the Phantom one day. Keep on running, Phantom! I'm comin' for ya!

If you could go back in time and catch any Broadway show, what would it be?
I would love to have seen the original production of Sweeney Todd. Love that show. Also the production of Jesus Christ Superstar. "Jesuuuuuuus!"

Depends on the friend! Book of Mormon, Kinky Boots, Matilda and Spider-Man

Favorite showtune(s) of all time:
“Heaven on Their Minds,” “Gethsemane,” “I Won't Send Roses,” “Lily's Eyes,” “Pinball Wizard,” “In His Eyes”... I have to stop here or I may break into a ballad…

Some favorite modern musicals:
Next to Normal was amazing. So was Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson. I loved Bonnie & Clyde even though the critics did not.

Some favorite classic musicals:
I love Carousel, Guys and Dolls, Mack and Mabel. There's just this undeniable charm about classic musical theatre.

Broadway or screen stars of the past you would most have loved to perform with:
Marlon Brando – he was just amazing! Watch his interview with Dick Cavett. He just GETS IT!

Your personal vocal idols, living or dead:
Freddie Mercury, Steve Barton, Anthony Warlow, Bono, Jeff Buckley

The one performance – attended - that you will never forget:
I will never forget when I saw Next to Normal for the first time – SPOILER ALERT! – the son is dead? What? Mind = blown.

Music that makes you cry, any genre:
Movie scores. I am a huge movie score geek, and they make me cry like a frightened child without his binky.

MAC or PC?
MAC! Although they're starting to get on my nerves.

Most played song on your iPod:
Currently it's the score to "Man of Steel." Didn't go nuts for the movie, but the score is the perfect workout companion.

When I joined my hometown's community theatre in high school.

I was doing Forever Plaid at the Alhambra Dinner Theatre. I played Jinx

Just your basic vocal sirens and some pull-ups. Gotta make them muscles pop!

The one I'm playing now

Biggest challenge about this current project:
Not bursting out in laughter on stage. Especially during scenes with Adam Dannheisser and Andre Ward.

Favorite part of the show for Drew:
The “Heaven”/“More Than Words”/“To Be With You” medley, just before my first date with Sherrie.

Worst flubbed line/missed cue/onstage mishap:
I once had a broom fly out of my hands and shatter a neon light all over the stage. It was epic. Like that moment when the sparks fly at Michael Clark Duncan's face in "The Green Mile."

Worst costume ever:
I played Oberon at my community theater. I had antlers.... made of pipe cleaners.

Worst job you ever had:
A Subway sandwich "artist"

Craziest audition story:
Getting to sing Queen songs FOR Queen, and working with Brian May on the material. It was unreal!

If you could trade roles with anyone in the cast for a week, who would it be?
Adam Dannheisser. I’d totally show him up. He thinks he's so good. He's not that good. Actually, he's pretty damn good.

Leading man role you've been dying to play:
Judas in JCS

Leading lady role you'd like a shot at:
Elphaba. I mean, come on!

Something about you that surprises people:
I used to weigh over 240 lbs.

Something you are incredibly proud of:
Losing almost 100 lbs!

Something you're embarrassed to admit:
I still watch cartoons

Archeologist, but ONLY if I get a hat and bull-whip!

My fiancée, my dog, my Xbox
