Jesse Tyler Ferguson

Full given name: Jesse Tyler Ferguson
Hometown: Missoula, Montana
Zodiac sign: Libra
Audition song: I need to retire "Try Me" from She Loves Me. I have been using it since I left school.
Special skills: I have minimal guitar skills. I am a mean Sudoku player.
First Broadway show ever saw: Falsettos
If you could go back in time and catch any Broadway show, what would it be? The original cast of A Chorus Line or Hair
Current show you have been recommending to friends: Spring Awakening
Favorite show tune: "Bewitched, Bothered and Bewildered"
MAC or PC? Oh, MAC all the way.
Most played song on your iPod: Right now it is a choral piece I am trying to learn for Midsummer. But before that: "Happy Ending" by Mika.
One CD you couldn't live without: Joni Mitchell, "Blue"
Must-see TV show: I wish I had a highbrow answer: "Top Chef" on Bravo.
Last good movie you saw: I loved "Knocked Up." Genius comedic performances.
Favorite board/card game: Phase Ten.
Performer you would drop everything to go see: Cynthia Nixon. She is a genius!
Pop culture guilty pleasure: I will read US Weekly cover to cover if it is in front of me.
First stage kiss: I think it was Lea DeLaria in On The Town.
Favorite pre-show meal: Don't tell James Lapine, but Celia Keenan-Bolger and I had a beer before our first "Adults Only" performance in Spelling Bee. We were so nervous. Does that count as a meal?
How you got your Equity card: Ten years ago to this very month, at the very theatre I am at right now in George C. Wolfe's revival of On The Town!
Worst flubbed line: I completely blanked on my lyrics to "Come Up to My Place" from On The Town. I basically forgot all my lyrics to the first verse. The orchestra just kept going without me. The first lyrics that were actually sung were Lea DeLaria singing: "Did I hear right? Did you say the Hippodrome?"
Worst costume ever: I did a production of Annie Get Your Gun where I played an Indian in one scene. The costume designer quit during tech so all I was left with was pants. I had to go shirtless. I have red hair and alabaster skin. Do the math. AN INDIAN!!!!!
Favorite cereal: I like oatmeal.
If you could star in any movie musical, which would it be? "How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying."
Worst job you ever had: I honestly have never hated a job. I tended bar at the Winter Garden Theatre while Cats was there. I think I saw the first act more times than Andrew Lloyd Webber did.
