Jill Paice

Full given name: Jill Suzanne Paice
Hometown: Dayton, Ohio
Zodiac sign: Aquarius
Audition song: "When I Grow Up" by the Pussycat Dolls (uptempo)
Special skills: I can touch my nose with my tongue, I am terrible at returning text messages and emails, and I can kill any houseplant in three days flat just by looking at it.
First Broadway show ever saw: My family came to New York City for the first time in 1997. We saw eight shows in seven days, the first being Les Misérables.
If you could go back in time and catch any Broadway show, what would it be? Me and My Girl (1986)
Current show you have been recommending to friends: Billy Elliot and In the Heights
Favorite show tune: "I Have Dreamed" as sung by Nancy Lamott
Most played song on your iPod: "One Day Like This" by Elbow
Web obsession: awkwardfamilyphotos.com, failblog.org
Last book you read: "The Complete Idiot's Guide to Photography Essentials"
Must-see TV show: "Lost" and "So You Think You Can Dance"
Last good movie you saw: "Wall-E"
Favorite game: Facebook's Word Twist. I love it, I play often, and yet my winning percentage is 16%. Dreadful.
Performer you would drop everything to go see: Kelli O'Hara
Pop culture guilty pleasure: "The Real Housewives of New York City." Oo! And "Tori and Dean: Home Sweet Hollywood." I feel guilty.
First stage kiss: Mike Mathieu in Into the Woods at my high school. The Prince and the Baker's Wife. I know I blushed profusely afterwards and stared at the floor while stammering through the rest of the scene.
Favorite post-show meal: The "Under $10" Menu at Angus McIndoe. You'll find the company of The 39 Steps there every Thursday night. But please don't bother us. We are very famous.
How you got your Equity card: When I was 20, I was a Toreadorable in Gypsy at Great Lakes Theatre Festival in Cleveland, Ohio.
Worst onstage mishap: My second night on in The 39 Steps, I used my head to knock a set piece off its perch. The audience laughed, and I froze. Jeffrey Kuhn was very helpful and laughed too.
Worst costume ever: I was a tree in a production of The Wizard of Oz when I was a sophomore in high school. Burlap sack. Branches fixed to my head. But never was I so excited to be on a stage.
Pet's name: My nine-pound Yorkie pup is named Lolly (Best pronounced "Lolleeeeeeeeeeeeeee!")
Favorite junk food: Popcorn. Movie theater-style.
Who would play you in the movie? Someone entirely more clever than me. But please let it also star John Krasinski, and please let me have a cameo as a waitress or a salesgirl.
If you could star in any Hitchcock film, which would it be? I would choose "Rear Window." Who could resist those gorgeous costumes designed by Edith Head and worn so beautifully by Grace Kelly?
