| Worst onstage mishap: | One night during Sabina at Primary Stages, I walked out and started the first speech of the play, a direct address monologue, and a woman in the back of the house screamed "Be quiet!!" at the top of her lungs. So I stopped talking. I waited a second and tried again, and this time it was even louder "Bee quiiiet!!!" I stood there in silence for what felt like a full minute. . . finally I started for the third time, and just continued over the person who had resumed screaming, until house management showed up. I discovered later that the person was trying to tell her companion to stop asking her for help with his hearing aid. Because, I can only assume, it was disrupting the play. Yeesh. |
| Who have you played on "Law & Order"? Which edition? | I have achieved the trifecta. "Criminal Intent": best one was the murder victim, pushed down an airshaft by mom, who had mad cow disease. Seriously. "SVU": multiple rape victim who offs herself in the bathtub. Mothership: the bad guy!!! I assisted a couple suicides. This episode had the best cast ever: Brad Dourif, Elizabeth Marvel, Susan Blackwell, Michael McKean... amazing. |
| Worst costume ever: | Children's theatre. Girl Scout outfit plus giant brown permy geri-curl-y wig. I was playing Goldilocks. Completely inexplicable. |

| Worst job you ever had: | Working in a haunted house in college. I was literally on the rack, screaming, for hours at a time. After one group went through one night, a kid who looked about 10 years old hung back and said to me, "Wow, you really needed a job, huh?" |
