Paul Dano

Full given name: Paul Franklin Dano
Hometown: Grew up in Manhattan and then Connecticut. Currently reside in Manhattan.
Zodiac sign: Gemini
Special skills: Being a G.
If you could go back in time and catch any Broadway show, what would it be? I'd watch Philip Seymour Hoffman in Long Day's Journey Into Night again and again. I do wish I could have seen Malkovich and Sinise in True West. Seeing Brando or Pacino back in the day...That might be it right there.
Favorite show tune: When I was a kid, it was all about Jesus Christ Superstar.
MAC or PC? Mac
Most played song on your iPod: "Things Done Changed" - Notorious B.I.G., "For the Turnstiles" - Neil Young, and "Temptation" - Tom Waits.
One CD you couldn't live without: There are a couple hundred of them, but today, I couldn't live without "Harvest" by Neil Young.
Last book you read: "The Rings of Saturn," by W.G. Sebald.
Must-see TV show: Don't do much tv. But "South Park" is brilliant.
Last good movie you saw: "Opening Night" by John Cassavetes
Favorite board/card game: Scrabble + Gin.
Performer you would drop everything to go see: Tom Waits.
Pop culture guilty pleasure: Movies with penis humor.
Favorite pre-show meal: A hearty sandwich. Perhaps pepper turkey, bacon, avocado, red onion, mayo, salt and pepper. Or some pasta.
How you got your Equity card: I got my Equity card some time ago, and cannot recall the specifics. Something tells me that at the age I got it, my parents probably had to help me.
Worst onstage mishap: I have ripped the back seam of my pants. That looked good. I also had a rather audible fart that I let go one time, but was able to use it in the scene. I'd like to think that was just living in the moment.
Worst costume ever: As a child, my mother made me wear clothes that were far worse than any costume. So I don't have many complaints there.
Cats or dogs? Dogs
Favorite cereal: Cereal. I love cereal. I eat several bowls a day, mostly a few late at night. Crispix, Honey Nut Cheerios, Kashi, and Oh's are a few favorites.
Easiest co-star to work with: I think [current co-star] Peter Dinklage is one of them.  And I'd have to say Catherine Keener [co-star of "The Ballad of Jack and Rose" and the upcoming "Where the Wild Things Are"] is a rad lady.
